What is an Art NFT?

In Digital Art, the  “original”  is a digital file.  If you buy the NFT  you  are buying a digital  asset with the authenticity certified by the blockchain .   The blockchain  records  the  ownership and the history of the digital asset.  Anyone can  have a JPEG copy,  just like anyone can take a photo of  artwork in a gallery or museum.  Having a picture  of art work is a different thing than owning the original.   This is a good read from Masterclass    I only offer one digital version as an NFT  of any image.  The “collection”  is a series of images based on a theme,  each work is unique.   There are generally more images in the  collection then posted on my website.   Print copies as a signed and numbered giclee are available,  runs are typically very limited   The size and media can be customized. 

If you wish to purchase any image as an NFT contact me,  I will mint and list it on OpenSea.  You will make the offer using a code, and price, we agree upon in advance. 

Giclées  are hand signed and numbered, typically an edition of 5-10. My standard process for  limited editions is an archival art surface/giclée printed on MOAB Entrada 100% cotton rag, 21.5mm.
